10:00PM | Sorry I've been absent. Between having a new (second) baby in a year, getting laid off
from work, dealing with a death and cancer in the family, and
acquiring an Asus N10J to play with I haven't had time to update this site. I intend to do continue. Thanks
for visiting. However, it would be nice if you could donate to my cause. Look for the PayPal donate button.
Even $1 helps. Thanks for your understanding and contribution.

12:15AM | Added Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth I, II, and
Rise of the Witch King RTS games. They work great, and with a simple edit
support native 1024x600 resolution.
September 2, 2008
10:20PM | Apologies for the lack of updates. That being said, I did add two new games: Command and
Conquer Generals + Zero Hour and No One Lives Forever 2. Also with the
pending release of Fallout 3, I am working on getting the prequels up and
running as well - Fallout 1 and 2.
Link to Daemon Tools Virtual CD/DVD ROM app added.
July 25, 2008
9:55PM | Added Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars to the Games
section. The game plays ok at 1024x600 at lowest resolution, but takes a
long time (4-5 minutes) to load up at first.

7:20PM | Ok, looks like I should be able to get back on track, slowly
but surely. Sorry for the delay, had to take care of personal matters for
the last week or so.
I have updated the GAMES section with a new
interface that requires a browser that supports Javascript. Hopefully it
will be a little more user friendly. There is one feature that works in
Internet Explorer that won't work in Firefox (at least that I can't figure
out) to lock the games table header. Not a big deal, but just to inform you.
Let me know what you think.

8:30PM | Sorry for lack of content, as I had a death in the family
recently. Hopefully will be back on track in a few days.
July 8, 2008
7:55PM | Added article on how to
install games on your Eee. Also
added Contact link (temporary email address)
July 5, 2008
8:05AM | This site can now be accessed through
www.gameeer.com or
www.gameeer.net. Bear with me as the
site finds its design. Probably should have worked that out first, but the
ADD in me had me jump right into content without a design.

July 3, 2008
11:30PM | Started up Apps section. This
section will contain reference to useful Windows XP utilities and Apps to
help get the most out of your Eee.
11:15PM | Added article on setting up
a RAMdisk
July 2, 2008
10:45PM | Added hotlinks for all games on games list above. Clicking
on the link will take you to the games page, and place the game of interest
at the top of the screen (basic HTML bookmark command action).
10:25PM | Added Grand Theft Auto Vice City. This is first that
includes YouTube video. I will attempt to add YouTube videos to all games
for proof / reference that the game runs.
July 1, 2008
9:20PM | I decided to put my open games list at top of this section
until complete. Added games are in GREEN text,
New additions are RED, pending games remain
BLACK.
June 30, 2008
7:25PM | Added some links under the games section to the game sites
as well as links to buy the game either through digital download or the
boxed version through the mail. Unfortunately many of these games aren't
available through digital download which would be ideal. Hope it helps.
June 29, 2008
8:30PM | Games on the deck to be trialed (edit: see above)
7:30PM | Added article on
how to edit registry. It is specific to
games on the Eee, and basically written for those who don't know what it
means to "edit the registry". So if you've done it before, no need to
read.
7:00PM | Added two more games to the games list,
Independence War 2: Edge of Chaos and
Warcraft III

10:00pm |
Apologies for the less than stellar website setup, as I will be working on
improving that over time, and haven't really messed with HTML over the past
few years, plus along with a baby, wife having an accident and other
personal matters, time is limited, so please bear with me!
That being said, welcome to my Eee PC Website. I
have updated the "GAMES" section with a number of games, noting their
compatability, file size, and how to change to widescreen. I expect to at
least double this list in the next week or two, time permitting. |
